- Internal Controls: Design and oversee a robust system of internal controls to ensure the safeguarding of assets, reliable financial reporting, and compliance with regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks, developing and implementing risk management strategies.
- Project Management: Lead and manage key financial control projects, ensuring successful implementation and achievement of desired outcomes.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders, senior management, and external auditors.
- Education: Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA certification highly desirable.
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally within the fashion or retail industry.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, financial modeling expertise, excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to lead and motivate a team, and proven track record of success in implementing financial control initiatives.
- Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Personal Qualities: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, integrity, decisiveness, and excellent interpersonal skills.
