About the Role:
The Hoxton is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rooftop Manager to join our team at Tope, our rooftop taqueria in Barcelona. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the total operations and commercial success of our rooftop bar, ensuring a fun, slick, and fast-paced experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the rooftop bar, including coordinating and managing the inside and outside areas to comfortably run 300+ covers per day.
- Lead and develop a team of 15+ staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with our company values.
- Own the venue's daily revenues and costs, making informed decisions to drive business growth and profitability.
- Work closely with our Brand Manager to develop and implement innovative rooftop bar strategies, staying ahead of the competition.
- Drive service standards through your team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience in a busy restaurant and/or bar operations role, with a keen eye for detail and a good understanding of managing a team.
- Fluency in Spanish and English, with additional languages highly valued.
- A track record of leading large teams in restaurants and bars, with a natural ability to inspire trust and bring others along on a journey.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
