We are seeking a highly skilled Cluster Management Director to join our team in Barcelona, Spain. This key leadership role will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our maritime and intermodal businesses, ensuring the smooth execution of our services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations and shipping industry experience, with a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience. They will be expected to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and optimize operational efficiency while managing costs.
Main Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of our Iberica Five Pillars strategy, focusing on Performance Management, Customer Experience, Leadership Excellence, Teamwork, and Communication.
- Develop and maintain a network of suppliers and services to offer added value to the company.
- Coordinate the correct declaration of import and export summaries to customs, ensuring compliance with regulations and avoiding penalties.
- Manage claims and risks, ensuring that projects are concluded in accordance with applicable regulations and policies.
- Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiations with suppliers and optimization of terminal, port authority, transport provider, and depot costs.
Requirements
- Operations and shipping industry experience and leadership experience of at least 10 years.
