Strategic Technology Leader

BOARD Deutschland GmbH is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Strategic Technology Leader to join our IT team and lead our organization's technology strategy and ensure alignment with business goals.
The Enterprise Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that drive innovation, efficiency, and competitive advantage.
Key Responsibilities- Define and Document Technology Strategy: Develop and maintain a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with business objectives and drives long-term growth.
- Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with executives, business leaders, and IT teams to comprehend their needs and requirements, and ensure that technology solutions meet their expectations.
- Evaluate and Select Technologies: Assess and select appropriate technologies and platforms for strategic solutions, considering factors such as scalability, security, and performance.
- Develop Architectural Standards: Establish and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality in technology solutions.
- Ensure Solution Quality: Verify that solutions meet performance, scalability, and security requirements, and identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
- Provide Technical Guidance: Offer technical guidance and support to IT teams during solution implementation, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems and technologies.
- Drive Innovation: Explore emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization, and drive innovation by identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing new solutions.
- Communicate Technical Concepts: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams.
- 7+ Years of IT Experience: Proven experience in solutioning, designing, development, and delivering systems, with a focus on strategic planning and enterprise-wide solutions.
- 5+ Years of Solutions Architecture Experience: Hands-on experience with solutions architecture, with a focus on strategic planning and enterprise-wide solutions.
- Integration Technology Experience: Experience with integration technology, platform, and API solutions.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical ideas/designs to multiple audiences.
- Agile Methodologies: Thorough understanding of and experience with multiple SDLC / Agile methods.
- Team Player: Proven ability to work effectively within a matrix organization, and communicate trade-offs and transactional states with technical and business teams.
- English Language Skills: Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
- Relevant Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF) are a plus.
