About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Technology Director to join our Accor Tech team in Madrid, Spain. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, roadmap, and deployment of Property Management Systems (PMS), Point of Sales (POS), and Meetings (Sales & Catering) across our global properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a long-term vision for PMS, POS, and Sales & Catering aligned with the Accor Tech strategy and transformation plan.
  • Global Solutions Architect: Lead the selection of PMS, POS, and Sales & Catering Worldwide, defining standards, processes, and shell.
  • Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing technology team across different regions, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Project Management: Manage functional backlog, product requests, product roadmap, and prioritization of enhancements, ensuring seamless operation across our properties.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with peers in the regions, central tech teams, and Digital Factory team to align the strategy and roadmap with business goals.
  • Capacity Planning: Responsible for capacity planning of environment, defining architecture, and guaranteeing performance.
  • Community Building: Build and animate a community across regions to promote automation and leverage the use of systems to better service hotels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Responsible for providing standards reports, implementing, configuring, and maintaining systems.
  • Partnerships: Responsible for strategic partnerships and working with procurement to lead necessary contract negotiations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and track the performance, quality of the product, satisfaction of hotels, and SLA of the providers.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience within a multi-national hospitality industry.
  • 8+ years' experience in hospitality technology with exposure making decisions on Property Management Systems.
  • A Bachelor's degree or MBA in computer science, software engineering, IT, or related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of PMS, POS, and Sales & Catering to drive and guide the team and influence third-party product roadmaps.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
