Job Overview
We are seeking an Advanced X-ray Imaging Specialist to join our team at the FaXToR beamline. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of advanced imaging techniques and support the user program.
Job Description
As an Advanced X-ray Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for developing innovative hardware and software tools for synchrotron-based single-shot phase contrast X-ray imaging. You will work closely with the scientific beamline staff, engineers, and technicians to design and implement new solutions. Your key role will involve bridging the gap between technology development and innovative hardware/software solutions for phase-contrast single-shot X-ray imaging.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a PhD in physics, chemical/biomedical engineering, material science, computer science, or a related discipline. You should have experience in X-ray imaging/techniques, implementation of scientific instruments, programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, data processing, and working in a synchrotron radiation facility. A significant scientific publication record is also essential.
