Customer Service Supervisor

At White Stuff, we're looking for a skilled Customer Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring our stores meet the highest visual and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by example and coach others to provide outstanding customer service.
- Ensure product presentation and shop visual standards are always excellent.
- Understand and promote our product ranges, explaining features to customers.
- Respond to customer feedback and queries, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Awareness of our charity partner and supporting events or charity promotions.
- Support the management team in coordinating promotions, incentives, and key trading weeks.
- Organize and coordinate the running of the shop through staff management, prioritizing and delegating duties.
- Process deliveries efficiently and ensure products are replenished and available for customers.
- Assist in supervision of stock takes and audits to ensure accurate reconciliation.
- Introduce customers to multichannel shopping through More Ways to Shop.
- Support with compliance and day-to-day transactional running of the shop.
- Show good understanding of policies and procedures and escalate operational issues and risks.
- Understand Health & Safety and emergency procedures in store.
- Assist management in creating a positive atmosphere in the shop focused on delivering sales and service results.
- Lead team briefs in management absence to ensure the team is set up with information and motivation to achieve targets.
- Delegate tasks to the team to ensure the day-to-day running of the shop.
- Seek out opportunities to train and develop the team to support the efficiency and smooth running of the shop.
- Assist management with communication and completion of wellbeing initiatives and escalate people queries.
- Understand our approach to Ethical Sourcing and environmental impact to explain to customers and the team.
