Job Title: Research Project Manager

Join the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) as a Research Project Manager and be part of a team that drives innovation in supercomputing. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to manage and coordinate research projects within our Project Management Office (PMO).

About the Role

As a Research Project Manager, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of research projects, from proposal preparation to project closure. You will work closely with research groups to detect and explore funding opportunities, coordinate project resources, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities for research groups
  • Coordinate project resources, including personnel, budget, and timelines
  • Develop and manage project proposals, ensuring administrative requirements are met
  • Collaborate with research groups to improve PMO operations and establish strong relationships
  • Negotiate and supervise contracts to protect BSC's interests
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • At least three years' experience in research project management
  • Experience with European Commission funded projects is an advantage
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
