Job Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to enterprise strategy and brand, legal, and corporate compliance guidelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of marketing principles and be able to identify ways to maximize efficiency and cost effectiveness within all marketing and advertising channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to support business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on marketing-related issues
  • Contribute to the development of marketing plans and budgets

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of relevant marketing experience, preferably in healthcare, pharma, or life sciences industry
  • Demonstrated success executing marketing initiatives, including launching new products and services, integrating brands, supporting industry events, and guiding advertising campaigns
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with sales, customers, and management
  • Ability to lead without authority and work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong project management and prioritization skills, with ability to multi-task and integrate cross-functional teams

Work Environment

This position is either office flexible or fully remote, depending on proximity to a Cencora office and leadership discretion. The work environment is generally quiet, and the ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a remote setting.

Travel Requirements

Will be required to travel domestically or internationally 1-3 times per year, with willingness and ability to adapt to changing travel schedules.

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Sedentary physical activity requiring reaching, sifting, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, and hearing
  • Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
  • 75% or more time is spent looking directly at a computer
  • Ability to deal with stressful situations as they arise
