Financial Operations Role

We are expanding our operations to the north of Spain and seeking candidates to drive our growth in León. As a Financial Operations professional, you will play a critical role in supporting our trading activities, ensuring seamless payment processing, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify client payments, adhering to internal processes and SLAs.
  • Complete payment beneficiaries, following established procedures.
  • Provide timely and effective support to clients, resolving queries and issues via email, phone, and chat.
  • Process client instructions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal processes.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, demonstrating end-to-end responsibility.
  • Generate and enrich transaction reporting files.
  • Reconcile client funds, FX settlements, and internal cash movements.
  • Investigate unallocated and non-received funds, escalating as necessary.
  • Fund client trades, where manual funding is required.
  • Verify payment status in third-party banking and payment platforms.
  • Update client information, adhering to relevant processes and procedures.
  • Communicate task status to colleagues, supervisors, and managers, escalating issues promptly.
  • Adhere to internal policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Meet quality standards and adhere to SLAs.
  • Offer feedback and learn from mistakes.

Requirements:

  • Practice good office etiquette, demonstrating punctuality, attendance, and behavior.
  • Work proactively, managing time effectively and handling pressure.
  • Demonstrate diligence, with attention to detail.
  • Exhibit good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Speak fluent Spanish and possess an advanced level of English.
  • Be cooperative, comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Be curious, eager to learn, and ask questions to clarify processes and procedures.
  • Be motivated, with a desire to contribute to Ebury's success.
