Financial Operations Role

We are expanding our operations to the north of Spain and seeking candidates to drive our growth in León. As a Financial Operations professional, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients and driving business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify client payments and complete payment beneficiaries in accordance with internal processes and SLAs.
  • Assist clients with transaction-related queries and issues, providing empathetic and efficient support.
  • Take and act on instructions from clients, adhering to internal processes and procedures.
  • Manage assigned tasks and demonstrate end-to-end ownership, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Create and enrich transaction reporting files, and reconcile client funds, FX settlements, and internal cash movements.
  • Investigate unallocated and non-received funds, and escalate as required.
  • Fund client trades where manual funding is necessary.
  • Monitor payment status in third-party banking and payment platforms, including SWIFT GPI.
  • Update client information and communicate task status to colleagues, supervisors, and managers.
  • Adhere to internal policies, processes, and procedures, meeting quality standards and SLAs.

Requirements:

  • Practice good office etiquette, with punctuality, attendance, and behavior.
  • Work proactively, managing time-frames and pressure effectively.
  • Demonstrate diligence and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Speak fluent Spanish and have an advanced level of English.
  • Be cooperative and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Show curiosity and a willingness to learn, asking questions to clarify processes and procedures.
  • Be motivated and committed to making Ebury a success.
