Financial Operations Graduate

León Office - Hybrid: 4 days a week office based working, 1 day working from home - including shift work in the evenings to support trading in different time zones - evening shifts will be paid an enhanced rate of pay

We are expanding our operations to the north of Spain and are seeking candidates to drive our growth in León.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify client payments in accordance with internal processes and SLAs.
  • Complete payment beneficiaries in line with internal procedures.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving client queries and issues via email, phone, and chat.
  • Take instructions from clients and act accordingly, adhering to internal processes.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and demonstrate end-to-end responsibility.
  • Generate and enrich transaction reporting files.
  • Reconcile client funds, FX settlements, and internal cash movements.
  • Investigate unallocated and non-received funds, escalating as necessary.
  • Fund client trades where manual funding is required.
  • Verify payment status in third-party banking and payment platforms.
  • Update client information in accordance with relevant processes and procedures.
  • Communicate task status to colleagues, supervisors, and managers, escalating issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all internal policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Meet quality standards and adhere to SLAs.
  • Offer feedback and learn from mistakes.

Requirements:

  • Practice good office etiquette, including punctuality, attendance, and behavior.
  • Be proactive, working under pressure and within strict timeframes.
  • Demonstrate diligence and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Speak fluent Spanish and have an advanced level of English.
  • Be cooperative and comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Be curious and eager to learn, actively seeking clarification on processes and procedures.
  • Be motivated, with a desire to contribute to Ebury's success.
