Business Development Specialist

As a Business Development Specialist at EVIDENT Europe GmbH, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base in the UK market.
Primary Objectives:- To qualify and manage inbound leads to allocate them effectively to our sales channels
- To develop new business opportunities through various channels such as cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and networking
- To execute sales campaigns for relevant markets, customer profiles, and products
- To approach potential clients for presentations and set up online meetings, requiring occasional travel
- To collaborate with Product Marketing, Marketing Communications, and sales teams on outbound activities
- To work with customers throughout the first phases of the sales cycle
- To generate new leads to be transferred to sales teams through high-level interactions: Directors, VPs, and C-level
- To conduct research on target industries, companies, and decision-makers to identify potential opportunities and tailor sales approaches accordingly
- To maintain existing B2B customers and achieve up- or cross-sell opportunities
We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong track record in technical sales development roles. As a Business Development Specialist, you will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in technical sales environments, preferably with microscopy knowledge
- A MUST-Have: Experience in outbound B2B sales and acquiring new business
- A competitive sales character with a desire to win
- An outgoing, smart, and professional character with the ability to put yourself in the customer's position
- An excellent command of English is a must, a command of another language is a plus
- The ability to negotiate on multiple levels, including purchasing and management level
We offer a comprehensive compensation package that includes:
- A competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience
