Job Summary

Pestana Hotel Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Junior Service Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurants, banquets, bars, room service, and mini-bars. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding and supervising service areas, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Area Management: Supervise and coordinate the teams in the field, providing assistance and guidance as needed to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Team Guidance and Development: Meet daily with teams to organize and provide instructions on service tasks, adjust and optimize team and material resources to meet event demands.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Verify daily occurrences, performances, and conditions to ensure the best response capacity of teams and quick resolution of any issues that may arise.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Monitor and address customer satisfaction and dissatisfaction, ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service and a high-quality experience.
  • Hygiene and Sanitation: Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all service areas, adhering to HACCP and other relevant regulations.

Requirements

  • Business Acumen: Demonstrate business orientation, goal orientation, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Competencies: Proficiency in FB software (Micros) and excellent customer service skills.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English.
