Position Overview
In the role of Junior Technical Service Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to deliver technical services and expert advice to industrial clients. Your duties will encompass conducting chemical assessments of water, managing chemical inventories, offering technical guidance, troubleshooting dosing and control systems, and preparing detailed service documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
● Deliver service and support to clients within a specified region, with occasional travel as required.
● Collaborate closely with the service manager to coordinate activities.
● Perform water sampling and chemical evaluations utilizing portable laboratory tools.
● Collect, package, and dispatch water samples to specialized laboratories for analysis.
● Draft comprehensive service reports detailing actions taken and recommendations made at client sites.
● Act as a liaison between clients and the sales and technical teams.
● Propose procedural enhancements to improve overall operational efficiency.
● Remain on-site until all assigned tasks are completed.
● Ensure adherence to workplace safety protocols.
● Complete all required training activities in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
● Familiarity with industrial water treatment processes (preferred, but not mandatory).
● Capability to troubleshoot technical challenges related to monitoring and dosing equipment (preferred, but not mandatory).
● Strong teamwork orientation and goal-driven mindset.
● Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
● Proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
● Willingness to travel frequently within the designated area.
● Eligibility to work within the European Union.
● Valid EU driver’s license.
