About Gartner Careers.Gartner Business Development Executives are key to expanding our presence globally across the market.

Your Role.As an Enterprise Sales Professional, you will drive the full sales cycle, identifying prospects and converting them into active Gartner clients within a Large-Enterprise territory with +$1 billion in annual revenue.

Key Responsibilities.

  • New Business Opportunities: Seek out and drive new business opportunities with new-to-Gartner organizations across your assigned territory, targeting Large Enterprise organizations.
  • Sales Conversations and Negotiation: Convert viable prospects into active Gartner clients by owning the full sales conversation and negotiation through to transitioning new clients to account management teams.
  • Pipeline Management: Continuously build a pipeline of high-quality opportunities to meet sales metrics, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.
  • Quota Responsibility: Manage quota responsibility for your assigned territory.

Requirements.

  • B2B Sales Experience: 5+ years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in complex intangible sales environments.
  • Business Development or New Client Acquisition: Business development or new-client acquisition experience in a selling role is highly desired.
  • C-Level Executive Selling: Experience selling to and/or influencing C-level executives.
  • Proven Track Record: A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Complex Sales Process Management: Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process.
