Job Description
We are seeking a Value Improvement Engineer to support our project leaders, engineering, and construction teams in identifying and implementing cost reduction alternatives. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support to project leaders, engineering, and construction teams in identifying and implementing cost reduction alternatives.
- Benchmarking design against historical performance, industry norms, and client standard designs to provide alternative designs that meet but do not exceed customer requirements.
- Facilitating value workshops and identifying and qualifying opportunities for process enhancement.
- Managing communications or workshops with clients, as required.
- Preparing multi-discipline conceptual and definitive cost reduction proposals for capital projects with assistance from project technical disciplines.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost engineering, project management, and process optimization. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential for success in this role.
