Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, with expertise on the cost and commercial aspects of AWS.
  • Empower clients with AWS tools for effective cloud and IT spend management, assessing reporting needs, establishing KPIs, and managing strategic requests to ensure continuous progress in customer transformation.
  • Drive measurable financial success and help unlock the full potential of the cloud.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to identify how they can reinvest optimization savings to fuel further growth.
A Day in the Life

As an AWS Optimization Specialist, every day brings new opportunities to help customers succeed as part of a collaborative team. You will start your day eager to learn from your experienced colleagues and brainstorm ideas together. Diving into AWS usage data and cost analytics tools, you will identify optimization opportunities, drawing on your team's expertise to uncover hidden savings for the customer.

During a video call, you will work alongside the customer's IT, operations, and finance teams to understand their challenges and develop a tailored plan to streamline cloud utilization and reduce costs.
