Senior Powertrain Calibration Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Senior Powertrain Calibration Engineer at AVL Iberica, you will be responsible for developing and implementing calibration methodologies to improve the calibration process. You will work closely with the team to perform chassis dyno or engine bench testing, depending on the calibration area responsibilities and project. Additionally, you will be responsible for road testing for real driving conditions validation of the calibration. This will include tests trips depending on the calibration area responsibilities on the project. You will also be required to report to the team leader and client during the development of the project.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement calibration methodologies to improve the calibration process.
- Perform chassis dyno or engine bench testing, depending on the calibration area responsibilities and project.
- Conduct road testing for real driving conditions validation of the calibration.
- Report to the team leader and client during the development of the project.

Requirements:
- Good English level. French or German is a plus.
- Engineering degree or similar. Master degree is a plus.
- 0-3 years of experience.
- Knowledge of powertrain and engines.
- High sense of responsibility, goal-orientation and teamwork skills.
- Extra curriculum activities like Formula Student is a plus.
- Matlab knowledge is desirable.
- Driving license is needed.
