Job Title: Calibration Engineer for Powertrain Systems

At Bertrandt, we are seeking a highly skilled Calibration Engineer to join our team. As a Calibration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing calibration for GPF and EM performance based on vehicle testing activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop calibration plans and manage vehicle preparation activities to support calibration development.
  • Collaborate with the Chassis Dyno Facilities Team to manage vehicle testing activities and postprocess results for calibration development.
  • Make calibration proposals to the team Calibration Technical Referent Engineer for engines/applications and different markets.
  • Regularly communicate and coordinate with global specialist teams to ensure successful calibration development.
Requirements:
  • Industrial/Aerospace/Informatics/Telecommunications Engineering degree (PhD wished, MSc required).
  • High/Mid English level required (Japanese Mid-level would be wished).
  • Experience in petrol powertrain calibration, vehicle must, engine dyne (wished > 2years must, > 3years wished).
  • Knowledge of Calibration Tools (Inca, CalDesk, Concerto, MDA, DDT200, Consult).
  • Knowledge of Automotive Powertrain simulation (Matlab, Simulink, GT-Power, Python) wished.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Organisational and planning skills.
  • Good communication skills.
