About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Drivability Calibration Engineer to join our team at AVL Iberica. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing drivability calibration strategies for various powertrain systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement drivability calibration strategies for various powertrain systems, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Utilize advanced engineering tools and methodologies to optimize vehicle performance, including data analysis and simulation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure calibration objectives are met within project timelines, including communication with stakeholders and project managers.
  • Conduct vehicle testing and data analysis to validate calibration solutions and identify areas for improvement, ensuring high-quality results and efficient problem-solving.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to resolve drivability-related issues throughout the development cycle, ensuring seamless collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to enhance calibration methodologies and techniques, ensuring our team remains at the forefront of innovation.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, with a Master's degree preferred.
  • Familiarity with calibration software and diagnostic tools, including INCA, Matlab/Simulink, and CANoe.
  • Driving license B (passenger cars) mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good base knowledge in internal combustion engines, with proven experience in drivability calibration or related automotive engineering roles advantageous.
