Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Officer to join our team at the United Nations Global Service Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our global telecommunications systems, ensuring seamless connectivity and communication across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our global telecommunications systems, including network infrastructure, hardware, and software.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve network performance, reliability, and security.
  • Lead and direct a team of telecommunications specialists to ensure the successful delivery of projects and tasks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and address telecommunications needs and requirements.
