The Childcare and Family Policies Chair at Institute for Advanced Family Studies (IESF) is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join their team.
The successful candidate will have a PhD in Sociology, Psychology, Social Policy, or Education, and will be responsible for carrying out and supervising data analyses, writing manuscripts for publication, and assisting with grant applications.
The Chair is focused on qualitative and quantitative analysis of existing and open datasets, and the postdoctoral fellow will be expected to develop proficiency in relevant literature and make presentations at professional meetings.
Key requirements include a strong research background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The position offers a full-time contract, supportive working conditions, and a dynamic international scientific environment.
Applications must be submitted via the online application platform, and should include a letter of motivation, full CV, and short research plan.
The selection process will be carried out in two phases, with the PI of the project responsible for both initial evaluation and subsequent interview.
Candidates will be assessed on their professional knowledge and experience, research experience abroad, specialized software skills, and proficiency in speaking and writing in English.
The successful candidate will be expected to start in March 2025.
