**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide legal advice and support to our business units on regulatory matters, including customer complaints and servicing.
- Advise our customer-facing teams on applicable laws and contractual terms that regulate the provision of our services to our European customers.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing responses to customers and external parties on complex matters.
- Maintain and update information and records to ensure accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide clear, timely, and actionable legal advice on proposed changes to customer experiences and associated product changes/enhancements.
- Monitor ongoing legislative and regulatory changes in the area of customer services, customer disclosures, and complaints management.
- Create and advise on templates, policies, and procedures to address new legal requirements.
- Identify productivity improvements and help drive and direct process changes to ensure continuing efficiency.
- Support senior colleagues in the Legal Department on various litigation, regulatory issues, strategic projects, and legal department operational matters.
**Requirements**
- Qualified lawyer in Ireland, or in an EU Member State, or the U.K. with a valid practicing certificate (or equivalent) with experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel.
- Experience in litigation and complaints management is preferred.
- Experience in payments, e-commerce, financial services regulation, or banking is desirable.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and matrixed organization.
