About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payments Legal Counsel - Regulatory Expert to join our team at Amadeus. As a key member of our Payments legal team, you will provide legal advice and support to our business units, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice and support to our business units on payment services and regulations.
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in drafting and negotiating payment agreements, including contracts and regulatory documents.
  • Support the implementation of contractual governance and regulatory guidelines for our regulated business.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and changes in law, practice, and regulatory framework affecting the payments sector.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Law, master's degree in law (preferred).
  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience in big law and ideally in-house.
  • Payment services/regulations knowledge is needed.
  • Understanding of commercial principles.
  • Proficiency in Legal English, strong drafting skills, and effective negotiation skills.
