About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at SMA Ibérica Tecnología Solar, S.L.U. in Madrid or Barcelona.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve distribution sales targets in the Residential, Commercial & Industrial, and Utility segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and installers/EPCs to increase SMA's market share.
- Provide technical solutions, consultancy, and product training to customers, and lead tenders for photovoltaics inverter acquisitions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to prepare forecasts and sales strategies.
- Collaborate with the local Sales Director and German sales and product management department to achieve sales goals.
- Participate in trade shows and conferences to promote SMA's products and services.
Requirements
- Highly qualified Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a strong affinity for technical products.
- At least 6 years of experience in direct, indirect selling, and distribution of sophisticated technical products, preferably in a multinational company.
- Excellent Spanish and English communication skills, with a high level of motivation and dynamism.
- Strong experience in distribution business, including whole sellers, and a strong customer-oriented approach.
- Availability to travel 70% of the time, visiting customers, attending events, and participating in trade shows.
Job Type
Full-time / Permanent position with a 6-month trial period.
