At Repsol, we are seeking a qualified individual to join our Back Office Wholesale Trading Gas division. If you possess over 2 years of experience in back office functions related to natural gas, LNG, or other commodity trading activities, alongside a relevant university degree and advanced English proficiency (C1 level), we invite you to consider this opportunity.
What you can expect:
As a member of the Back Office team overseeing physical and derivatives trading of natural gas and LNG, your role will encompass various responsibilities including settlement processes, invoice reconciliation, payment management, and compliance with regulatory reporting. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments, providing a chance to work alongside Front Office, Confirmations, Credit, Global Services, Compliance teams, and external partners.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing settlement for physical and derivatives transactions in natural gas and LNG, generating invoices, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Processing payments and ensuring timely communication with Global Services.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting requirements for CNMV, Cores, EMIR, REMIT, and other relevant regulations.
- Coordinating with Compliance, Regulators, and Exchanges to meet all necessary requirements.
- Overseeing the automation of regulatory reporting tasks in partnership with Process Support/IT.
- Ensuring that new business activities adhere to governance and regulatory standards.
We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in back office roles related to natural gas, LNG, or commodity trading.
- Knowledge of the market, particularly in gas and LNG, is a plus.
- Familiarity with ETRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP, Allegro, or other ETRM systems is preferred.
- An understanding of process automation and RPA tools.
