Demand Planner with French Language Expertise

Job Summary

Bayer is seeking a highly skilled Demand Planner with expertise in French to join our team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will be responsible for analyzing sales forecasts, preparing demand plans, and supporting S&OP meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze sales forecasts and prepare demand plans to ensure accurate market sales and demand alignment with local supply.
  • Liaise with commercial organizations, finance, and operations to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Regularly analyze KPIs, such as forecast accuracy, and propose actions to improve performance in collaboration with regional demand planning.
  • Maintain an up-to-date 36-month forecast in related systems, such as APO, based on the latest business insights.
  • Monitor supply issues, such as stock outs and bottlenecks, and identify impact on demand in collaboration with supply coordination.
  • Prepare and support S&OP meetings, including preparation of reports, analysis of issues and risks, and coordination of action items.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration and a postgraduate certificate in supply chain management discipline preferred.
  • 5-7 years of related experience in supply chain management.
  • Strong SAP knowledge, especially APO.
  • Digital mindset and knowledge in emerging digital technologies, such as RPA, Blockchain, AI, and IoT.
  • Experience in operational excellence.
  • Highly motivated, structured, and able to handle stressful situations.
  • Strong in troubleshooting, problem-solving, and high degree of proactivity.
  • Native or fluent French and proficient in oral and written English.
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate effectively within a multicultural environment.
