Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Design Trainee to join our team in Barcelona. As a Design Trainee, you will work closely with our Design team for Europe, North Africa, and Turkey, supporting the different phases of the hotel and food and beverage design process, from feasibility and concept studies to opening.

Main Responsibilities

  • Preparation of mood boards and general presentations
  • Test fits and preliminary layouts
  • Review of shop drawings and fit-out projects
  • Support in the selection of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) and finishing materials
  • Compilation of technical standards and preparation of brand design guidelines
  • Documentary control

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in the last course (or just graduated) of interior design, architecture, or a similar field
  • Possibility to establish an internship agreement with your university
  • Preferably, be available to start in September/October for a 6-month internship
  • Fluency in English (oral and written)
  • Spanish is a big plus
  • Good command of AutoCAD, Photoshop, InDesign, and knowledge of 3D modeling software is an asset
  • Able to manage multiple projects at a time and adapt easily in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
