Join Our Team as a Renewable Energy Project Engineer Trainee

OCA Global is a leading international private equity group with its headquarters in Spain, dedicated to inspection, certification, testing, consulting, and training activities.

Our Consulting and Technical Advisory division provides interdisciplinary technical advisory services to support public administrations, banks, investment funds, project developers, industrial, and service companies in their transition to a more sustainable and climate-resilient economy.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Renewable Energy Project Engineer Trainee to provide technical support throughout all phases of Technical Advisory and Owner's Engineering services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Senior Engineering team in conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering development and review of Renewable Energy Plants (solar PV and CSP, wind, mini-hydraulic, BESS, and PtX).
  • Provide technical support in all project phases: project development, engineering design, construction, and commissioning.
  • Support in Technical Due Diligence and Lender Technical Advisor reports, technology evaluation, Operation & Maintenance, etc.
  • Support in Engineering review, including the technical revision and approval of the main project design engineering documentation (Owner's Engineering).
Requirements:
  • BSC in any relevant Engineering.
  • MSC in Renewable Energy would be favorably considered.
  • No experience required.
  • Spanish and English: Native or full professional proficiency.
  • French would be favorably considered.
