Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Renewable Energy

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Empresa Reconocida. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, engineering, and construction of renewable energy projects.

About the Role:
  • Support the electrical design, engineering, and construction of renewable energy projects.
  • Provide mechanical technical support to the project teams.
  • Monitor contract performance against project milestones, budget, and other established metrics.
  • Perform technical contract reviews for construction and procurement contracts.
  • Assist project teams with the review of all key project documents and updates.
  • Arrange for and organize regularly scheduled project meetings to facilitate, confirm, and communicate status of progress and assign tasks.
  • Assist Project Managers by providing technical comments on other agreements as needed.
  • Develop preliminary design, specifications, and estimates.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret blueprints, professional journals, technical procedures, contracts, or governmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in renewable energy sectors.
  • Technical working knowledge of wind turbines, solar panels, battery energy storage systems, electrical construction practices, scheduling and budgeting, reporting, safety best practices, bidding and estimating.
  • General understanding and ability to use project scheduling software and methodology; Microsoft office suite; strong Excel/Spreadsheet analysis; Zoom; Adobe; AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of GIS software and solutions.
  • Fluent in English (Spanish Portuguese a plus).
