We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Altorecruit. This role will involve working in a market leader within the Thermoplastic distribution industry, providing exceptional customer service and support.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills and a minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience within a similar position/industry.

The main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Processing incoming customer requests and orders.
  • Checking orders against customer and purchase order agreements.
  • Responding to customer product inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with the logistics department to prepare and arrange the execution of the shipment of goods and monitoring outbound activities.
  • Assuring correct pricing of customer orders, invoicing timely and accurately.
  • Point of contact with internal departments at a first level: sellers, logistics, purchasing, credit, accounting, planning, PLM.
  • Handling complaints and returning shipments.
  • Monitoring the credit situation of the customer and liaising with the credit department and the sales team.
  • Supporting and interfacing the Sales Representatives.
  • Working efficiently with all internal departments and with external parties.
  • Maintaining, updating and filing customer documents, records and internal documents.
  • Able to balance competing demands and prioritize.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field is preferred.
  • Fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience within a similar position/industry is a plus.
  • Experience in MS Office tools, ERP (SAP) and Salesforce.com experience is an asset.
