Transforming Healthcare through Training and Development
Baxter is a leading global healthcare company that is deeply connected by its mission to save and sustain lives. As a key member of our EMEA team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial excellence through effective training and development programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a comprehensive training curriculum for the regional commercial team, marketing team, and other selected functions.
- Develop and deliver sales training programs, either directly or through management of external suppliers.
- Assess competence and measure the impact of the training curriculum as part of the certification process.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders in the commercial team to define and deliver effective learning and development solutions that enable commercial teams to implement marketing and sales strategies.
- Meet aligned business goals as part of the Commercial Excellence offering.
- Develop content innovation and provide guidance to regions to ensure that programs are implemented effectively and in alignment with business needs.
- Work with regional/global marketing to integrate product and therapy training with practical selling skills into product launch planning and execution.
- Identify local trainers, set priorities, develop implementation plans, and execute those plans for the marketing and customer-facing teams.
- Work with other business trainers to create and adhere to business training processes and scheduling.
Requirements:
- Relevant L&D qualification preferred, with experience in a commercial environment, including but not limited to Learning & Development management, Training Needs Analysis, Design & delivery of training programs/interventions, and blended learning solutions.
- Fluency in English is mandatory, and other European languages are advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree required in a Business or science-related discipline.
- 5+ years in sales/commercial role in pharmaceutical/healthcare environment.
- Previous experience in European/International positions or involvement in international projects is desirable.
- Previous Marketing or Medical Affairs experience is considered a plus.
- Previous Management experience is also considered a plus.
