Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Global Head of Procurement Strategy. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to drive category strategic goals and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive/Implement Category Strategic Goals: Develop and execute procurement strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, ensuring maximum value creation and minimal risk.
  • Derive Game-Changing Strategies: Define clear category objectives, working with analytical data, business stakeholders, and market expertise to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Align Strategies to Measurable Targets: Clearly convey strategies to the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable targets.
  • Project Dynamics and Impacts: Analyze and project the dynamics and impacts of business decisions, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Extract, Cleanse, and Consolidate Information: Extract, cleanse, and consolidate information to fact-based insights for further usage in category strategies.
  • Participate in Financial Discussions: Apply financial knowledge to participate actively in budgeting processes, including tax aspects in sourcing strategies and structuring sophisticated deals with ecosystem partners.
  • Map the Value Chain: Analyze the value chain, derive potential scenarios, and understand the application of total cost of ownership and should cost modeling.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Support reports to determine appropriate compliance levels, monitor end-to-end compliance, and derive corrective actions to improve compliance.
  • Project Planning and Management: Plan, organize, and manage projects, taking into account priorities, resources, budgets, issues, and constraints to achieve desired results.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Manage data analysis and reporting, analyzing spend, demand, supply markets, and competitors.
  • Demand Management: Ensure the right balance between business needs and Sandoz strategy, accountable to work with stakeholders to identify the most cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives.
  • Sourcing and Supplier Relationships Management: Execute the Source-to-Contract process, including respective strategies, approaches, and methods, preparing and conducting fact-based negotiations.
  • Manage Relationships with Stakeholders: Analyze specifications for optimization.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in procurement strategy and category management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and systems.
