About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Head of Procurement Marketing Strategist to join our team at the Healthcare Businesswomen's Association. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for leading all strategic aspects within the category of Marketing (Agencies, Media, Print & Promo) for our organization on a global level.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategic goals from overall procurement strategy and ecosystem management
  • Derive game-changing strategies by defining clear category objectives, working with analytical data, business stakeholders, and market expertise
  • Align strategies to measurable targets and clearly convey them to the organization
  • Project the dynamics and impacts of mergers and acquisitions
  • Extract, cleanse, and consolidate information to fact-based insights for further usage
  • Participate in and/or lead financial discussions, applying financial knowledge to participate actively in budgeting processes and structuring sophisticated deals with ecosystem partners
  • Map the value chain, analyze it, and derive potential scenarios, including the understanding and application of total cost of ownership and should cost modeling
  • Support compliance and risk management by monitoring end-to-end compliance and deriving corrective actions to improve compliance
  • Plan, organize, and manage projects, taking into account priorities, resources, budgets, issues, and constraints to achieve desired results
  • Manage data analysis and reporting, analyzing spend, demand, supply markets, and competitors
  • Responsible for ensuring the right balance between business needs and our organization's strategy
  • Accountable for working with stakeholders to identify the most cost-effective ways to deliver business objectives
  • Execute the Source-to-Contract process, including respective strategies, approaches, and methods, preparing and conducting fact-based negotiations
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders, analyzing specifications for optimization, linking specification to customer value, and conveying messages clearly and convincingly
Requirements:
  • University/Advanced degree required, ideally in Business & Administration and/or Supply Chain
  • Master's Degree/other advanced degree in Procurement/Supply Chain preferred
  • 7-10 years of relevant business experience, preferably in the Pharmaceutical industry, with a focus in the Marketing domain
  • Strong project management or other leadership experience
  • Excellent spoken and written English, with other foreign languages as required
