About GeoAnalytics

GeoAnalytics is a sub-team within BCG X, a rapidly growing analytics enterprise that deploys a constellation of teams focused on driving practical results for BCG clients by applying leading-edge technologies.

As a GeoAnalytics Analyst, you will be part of a global resource, working with clients in every BCG region and industry area, leveraging geospatial data, analytics, and technology to solve location-based analytical problems.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize knowledge of geospatial data and analytics to solve complex problems for clients
  • Apply techniques such as geospatial clustering, network analysis, location-based optimization, and predictive analytics/modeling
  • Distill insights from analysis and link them to business objectives
  • Contribute to IP development, content development, and support internal marketing
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of relevant work experience in GeoAnalytics with an advanced degree preferred
  • Relevant degree in geospatial-related field such as Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing, Urban Planning, Statistics/GeoStatistics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Previous experience working in a global organization or professional services firm is preferred
