Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to oversee and manage the implementation of BIM processes and technologies within our organization. This role is crucial in facilitating collaboration among different departments involved in the design, construction, and operation of industrial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- BIM Coordinator on Projects:
- Assume the role of Project Manager for small projects or Procurement Manager for medium to large projects.
- Develop procurement strategies aligned with project goals and objectives.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and select the most suitable vendors for the project.
- Maintain a curated database of IPS suppliers and a contract database suitable for IPS.
- Design and implement procurement processes, including Requests for Interests (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Questions and Answers (Q&A), and Bid comparisons.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
- Oversee and track procurement processes, harmonize scopes, and systematically report progress and risks to project management.
- Familiarity with construction contracts to lead commercial negotiations.
- Have in-depth knowledge and expertise in BIM.
- Advise project managers, team members, clients, or other individuals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and advancements.
- Develop content such as training materials, manuals, technical documentation, whitepapers, or educational resources.
- Embed lessons learned on projects into the SOP, work instructions, and templates.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
