About the Role:

Group IPS is seeking a highly skilled BIM Manager to join our team in Spain. As a BIM Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the implementation of BIM processes and technologies within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume a dual role within the organization, serving as the BIM coordinator on projects and owning the standard operating procedure (SOP) of BIM.
  • Take the role of Project Manager (Small Projects) or Procurement Manager (Medium-Large Projects) and develop procurement strategies aligned with the project's goals and objectives.
  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and select the most suitable vendors for the project.
  • Entertain an IPS supplier's curated database and a contract database suitable for IPS (size, complexity, etc.).
  • Be familiar with state-of-the-art practices with regards to procurement/contracting strategies and design and implement procurement processes.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and align procurement activities accordingly.
  • Oversee and track the procurement processes, harmonizing scopes and systematically reporting the progress and risks to the project management.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts should extend to comprehending their essential components in order to lead the commercial negotiations.

Requirements:

  • Have in-depth knowledge and expertise in BIM processes and technologies.
  • Consult with project managers, team members, clients, or other individuals to provide guidance and advice.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research, trends, and advancements in BIM and related fields.
  • Develop content such as training materials, manuals, technical documentation, whitepapers, or educational resources.
  • Stay abreast of changes and advancements in BIM and related fields.
