Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality systems and methodologies to drive zero-defect components and continuous improvement projects.
- Leverage statistical analysis and quality control tools to monitor and improve supplier performance.
- Apply root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to address and resolve quality challenges within the supply base.
- Enhance supplier quality by developing and ensuring suppliers meet customer requirements.
- Optimize manufacturing processes by collaborating with suppliers to validate and optimize their processes.
- Support supplier selection by contributing to the cross-functional supplier selection process.
- Strengthen relationships by building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, cross-functional teams, and external customers.
Requirements
- Effective communication and customer focus.
- Auditing expertise and quality management systems knowledge.
- Technical and manufacturing knowledge, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles.
- Problem-solving and quality influence skills.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Significant experience in quality engineering or a similar role.
