Nuclear Safety and Performance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer - Safety Analysis to join our team at Importante empresa. As a key member of our Systems and Safety Analysis group, you will be responsible for performing engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services to support the operation of our nuclear power plants.
Key Responsibilities- Engineering Evaluations and Analyses: Perform a variety of engineering tasks in support of nuclear power plant operations, including preparation of inputs for transient analyses, fluid systems calculations, and evaluation of emergency operation procedures changes.
- Thermal-Hydraulic Calculations: Develop proficiency in thermo-hydraulic calculations for transient analyses and systems evaluations.
- Dose Calculations and Radiological Consequences: Assess the capability of dose calculations and radiological consequences of accidents.
- Code Running and Documentation: Run codes for safety analyses purposes and thoroughly document analyses.
- Technical Challenges and Solutions: Propose solutions to technical challenges that may arise during projects.
- Licensing Documentation: Participate in the preparation of licensing documentation.
- Team Collaboration: Participate in integrated and international project teams and communicate with involved parties.
- Travel and Communication: Occasionally travel to customer sites or to industry group workshops to gather or present technical information.
- Education: Master's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, Physics, Energy Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Nuclear Engineering.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in safety analysis for nuclear power plants.
- Skills: Strong technical interest, predisposition for multi-tasking, flexibility, understanding of project priorities, and teamwork abilities.
- Language: Fluent in English with proven reporting skills.
