Revenue Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Revenue Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona. As a key member of our revenue management team, you will be responsible for maximizing hotel room revenue through effective pricing, rate parity distribution across all channels, and hotel inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Revenue Management in analyzing competitive sets, price positioning, and future market needs.
  • Execute market-wide strategy and promotion implementation.
  • Perform ongoing revenue system health-checks and optimization.
  • Ensure all distribution channels effectively support the hotel and maintain rate parity.
  • Monitor daily online pricing to ensure alignment with pricing and sales strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and competitor developments.
  • Maintain effective communication with other departments, including Sales, Concierge, and Front Desk.
  • Optimize and maintain our revenue management systems.
  • Train and mentor team members as required, providing feedback and reviewing processes.
  • Interact with guests, providing warm, professional, and helpful service to exceed their expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in revenue and reservations.
  • Experience with booking systems, revenue management systems, GDS, OTA extranets, and channel managers.
  • Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to make effective decisions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to our unique culture.
  • Humility and openness to ideas, with a willingness to try new approaches.
