Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Technology Project Coordinator to support our office's actions in IP offices. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects to ensure timely completion, within budget, and meeting quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects to support the office's actions in IP offices.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, identify key milestones, and outline budget-ensuring compliance with agreed tolerances (time, cost, benefits, risks, quality, and scope).
  • Identify dependencies in the life cycle of projects and interdependencies with other projects implemented simultaneously.
  • Manage budget execution, monitoring expenditure and costs against delivered and realized benefits as the project progresses.
  • Provide proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables, review of project deliverables, quality control, risk analysis and management, status reports, problem reporting and management systems, follow-up, and organization.
  • Guide the project team in charge of project activities and review their deliverables.
  • Participate in functional working groups and progress meetings.
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement and communication.
  • Estimate costs and timescales for the successful completion of each project to agreed terms of reference.
  • Prepare and maintain project and quality plans, track activities against the plan, and provide regular and accurate reports.
  • Monitor costs, timescales, and resources used, and take corrective actions where these deviate from agreed tolerances. Ensure that delivered systems and/or projects are implemented within these criteria.
  • Manage the change control procedure, gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors.
  • Provide effective leadership for the project team, ensuring that team members are motivated and constantly developing their skills and experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management with a project management methodology (e.g., Prince2 or equivalent) in IT software development.
  • Experience with quality procedures.
  • Proven experience with project management tools.
  • Use of the project management tool: Clarity PPM and/or JIRA (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as Project Manager using leading methodologies and standards including MSP and Prince2 (or equivalent).
  • Good reporting methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to apply high-quality standards to all tasks.
  • High leadership and organization skills.
  • Proven ability to speak, write, and read fluently in English (C1). For deployed resources in Europe, they must speak the language of the national office at a native level (C2).
  • Ability to participate in multilingual meetings, good communication skills.
  • Ability to give effective presentations.
  • Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability, and experience of working in a team, as well as understanding the needs, objectives, and constraints of those in other disciplines and functions.
  • Ability to command respect and create a sense of community amongst the members of the project teams.

Salary: €80,000 - €120,000 per year, depending on experience.
