Job Title: Head Butler

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Butler to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Head Butler, you will be responsible for providing exceptional personalized service to our guests, ensuring their stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, providing tailored service to exceed their expectations.
  • Assist with planning and arranging activities, services, and amenities for our guests.
  • Ensure all guest requests are fulfilled and followed up on in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with all in-suite services, technology, amenities, functions, and systems to provide expert guidance to our guests.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with repeat guests, ensuring their profiles are updated and their needs are met.
  • Provide exceptional service to long-staying, special-attention, and occasion-celebrating guests, paying close attention to their needs and requests.
  • Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality, adhering to our hotel's policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on unattended valuables and belongings in guest rooms, ensuring the Supervisor is informed.
  • Provide third-service to guests by tidying up rooms after they leave, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Demonstrate discretion and courtesy when entering guest rooms, respecting their privacy.
  • Assist guests with hotel facilities, providing informative and helpful guidance.
  • Supervise the operation of room service, food and beverage, and other guest concerns.
  • Assign tasks and direct workers to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Observe and evaluate worker performance, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Support domestic employees with their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Communicate important announcements, meetings, and memorandums to employees.
  • Deliver exceptional service in each unit, adhering to our service standards.
  • Prepare service plates, collect empty plates, and instruct Bus Boys and interns.
  • Comply with departmental instructions and procedures published by the F&B Department.
  • Carry out duties according to the practices and operational standards identified by the Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Strive for 100% customer satisfaction, predicting and addressing potential issues.
  • Promote environmental sustainability by participating in activities that protect biological diversity and reducing waste.
  • Implement energy-saving measures and train employees on responsible energy use.
  • Monitor the effects of energy efficiency on purchased equipment and implement necessary changes.
  • Eliminate and collect waste properly, reducing environmental pollution and harm.
  • Carry out responsibilities related to quality management and food safety management systems.
  • Perform other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in this job description.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school or vocational diploma.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the industry.
  • Foreign Language: English required.
  • Courses and Training: Vocational training and seminars.
  • Computer Literacy: Not required.
  • Skills: Wide knowledge of customer service, hotel management, and supervising hotel/cruise/club operations.
