About the Role
The MS&T Technical Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between Galderma and external suppliers, ensuring seamless technical collaboration and resolution of challenges. As a key interface, you will oversee validation activities, evaluate technical changes, and contribute significantly to manufacturing-related questions and topics.
Key Responsibilities
- Packaging Development: Collaborate with the product development team to design innovative and functional packaging solutions for new and existing cosmetic products. Ensure that packaging materials are safe, suitable, and align with the company's sustainability goals.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality control processes for packaging materials and finished products, conducting tests and inspections to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers to source materials for secondary and tertiary packaging.
- Project Management: Oversee packaging projects, creating project plans, setting milestones, and coordinating efforts with the packaging team and stakeholders.
- Risk Assessment and Troubleshooting: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, as well as troubleshoot packaging issues during production or distribution.
Requirements
- Experience in medical device or pharmaceutical industries, particularly in production or CI.
- Knowledge of GMP/GDP is highly desirable.
- Project management experience.
- Development experience in secondary and tertiary packaging.
- Formal continuous improvement qualification (Lean Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred).
