About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our pre-opening team at SLS Barcelona, a five-star urban resort of extraordinary experiences. As a Restaurant Manager, you will direct the operations of the Food & Beverage outlets within the hotel, ensuring that the restaurant's service is true to the SLS brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire restaurant operation, ensuring seamless execution of food and beverage concepts.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service standards, guest satisfaction, and team performance.
- Lead a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Manage food and beverage control, including inventory, bar pars, costs controls, and sales analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of service excellence.
- Collaborate with the Head of Bars & Restaurants to drive business growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the overall guest experience.
- Conduct performance appraisals, make personnel-related decisions, and contribute to the hiring process.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, vendors, and internal teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality, with a proven track record in restaurant management and leadership.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong understanding of local market trends and consumer behavior.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high-performing team, with a customer-centric approach.
