About the Role

Green Recruitment Company is seeking a highly skilled Renewable Energy Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our energy analysis team, you will be responsible for conducting site feasibility assessments, designing measurement campaigns, and optimizing site designs for solar projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site feasibility assessments to identify potential solar project sites, including resource and production analysis.
  • Design and specify measurement campaigns to collect data on site conditions.
  • Define site constraints and optimize site designs to maximize energy yield.
  • Perform pre-construction energy yield assessments for solar projects, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Review and challenge third-party energy yield assessment reports, identifying critical issues or further analysis requirements.
  • Support the tendering process for third-party energy yield analyses, including scope definition.
  • Contribute to the development of energy analysis methodologies, processes, and tools, incorporating lessons learned from our client's operational portfolio.
  • Provide ad-hoc technical support to regional development teams.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in solar energy yield analysis.
  • Track record in a renewable energy project development company or technical advisory/consulting industry.
  • Experience in managing client/external stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with industry software tools, such as Pvsyst, Meteonorm, PVcase, Rstudio, and Python.
  • High level of proficiency with Excel, visual basic, and macro writing experience.
  • Degree qualification in engineering, physics, maths, meteorology, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish.
