About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Expert Rating Analyst to join our team at Welocalize, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving AI-driven online advertising platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and improve AI-driven online advertising platforms
  • Establish benchmarks and guidelines for data used to train AI models
  • Collaborate with a diverse team of data scientists, data analysts, and expert raters
  • Work with data in Japanese and collaborate with a team from different cultural backgrounds
  • Define, explain, and defend points of view in group discussions
  • Review and discuss a variety of topics and be comfortable with ambiguity in guidelines, workflows, and processes
Requirements
  • Native-level fluency in Japanese (as spoken in Japan)
  • Excellent understanding and use of English (written and spoken)
  • Willingness to work in our office in Barcelona, Spain
  • Authorization to work in Spain
  • Non-Disclosure Agreement
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in AI-based relevance rating, marketing/advertising, linguistics, content creation, writing, tech-related quality assurance, data labeling, or linguistic annotation
  • 4-year university degree in any of the above-mentioned professions/disciplines
  • Knowledge and interest in artificial intelligence technology and its ethical implications, especially in online advertising
  • Strong interest and understanding of digital marketing and advertising, especially as it relates to artificial intelligence
  • Experience with working in an Agile development environment
  • Experience with SQL or HTML
