Job Title: Japanese Expert Rating Analyst

Location: In-office – Barcelona, Spain

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Expert Rating Analyst to join our team at Welocalize. As an Expert Rating Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and improving AI-driven online advertising platforms.

You will help establish benchmarks and guidelines for data used to train AI models, particularly in areas lacking defined standards. This means you will be shaping the future of web-based advertising and AI models.

You will be part of a wider team of data scientists, data analysts, and expert raters dedicated to improving advertising relevance for end-users across the world.

You will specifically be working with data in Japanese. However, you will collaborate with a diverse team from different cultural backgrounds who work on various languages.

Our Expert Rating Analysts are also eligible for benefits, including annual leave, public holidays, and an employee assistance program.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and improve AI-driven online advertising platforms
  • Establish benchmarks and guidelines for data used to train AI models
  • Work with data in Japanese and collaborate with a diverse team
  • Participate in a wider team of data scientists, data analysts, and expert raters

Requirements:

  • Native-level fluency in Japanese (as spoken in Japan)
  • Excellent understanding and use of English (written and spoken)
  • Must be willing to work in our office in Barcelona, Spain
  • Must sign a standard Non-Disclosure Agreement
  • Must be authorized to work in Spain

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in one or more of the following: AI-based relevance rating, marketing/advertising, linguistics, content creation, writing, tech-related quality assurance, data labeling, or linguistic annotation
  • 4-year university degree in any of the above-mentioned professions/disciplines
  • Knowledge and interest in artificial intelligence technology and its ethical implications, especially in online advertising
  • Strong interest and understanding of digital marketing and advertising, especially as it relates to artificial intelligence
  • Experience with working in an Agile development environment
