Job Title: Financial Associate

EDP Renewables is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, with a strong presence in 28 markets. As a Financial Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the daily financial management of our business units, ensuring the financial viability of our projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the assessment of financing alternatives and conditions to determine the adequate financial structure of projects.
  • Contribute to the contractual implementation of selected financing sources, including corporate finance and project finance.
  • Support the management in determining necessary interest rates and currency hedges, and monitor their performance.
  • Prepare and report on covenants associated with project financing.
  • Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics, with an MBA preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
  • Experience in financial modeling and project finance contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, including SAP ERP and Power BI.
  • Fluent English language skills, with Spanish and Portuguese language skills a plus.
