About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Associate to join our dynamic and international team at IE University. As a key member of our Administration & Accounting department, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of our administrative operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Monitor and control financial accounting processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks and accounting principles.
- Supervise the accounts payable department, fixed assets, and intangible assets, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Collaborate with the Management Team to prepare reports and provide financial insights.
- Participate in special projects to improve administrative processes and implement automation solutions.
- Respond to queries from various stakeholders and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably in a Big Four audit firm.
- Excellent knowledge of Spanish GAAP and US GAAP, with the ability to interpret and apply financial data.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with ERPs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently, with a high level of organization and initiative.
